Job Description Key Responsibilities / Functions: - Works as the Lead Mechanical Designer in the AIO Small Cell HW Design and Test team - Expertise in mechanical, thermal, structural, tooling and manufacturing design to ensure compact and robust indoor and outdoor Small Cell products. - Support various mechanical designs of installation hardware for indoor and outdoor 5G products for field deployments in US AT&T and Verizon markets. - Work closely with our WNC Product teams in design, test and manufacturing. . Participate in and contribute to all design reviews. - Responsible for Mechanical design/Installation met customer (Nina) requirements. - Experience in Environmental (Telecordia GR, ETSI EN) and Compliance (TIA, NEBS, UL, CE, FCC) regulatory testing to ensure Small Cell products meet required specifications. - Expertise in designing mounting accessories for indoor and outdoor Small Cells in various installation scenarios. - In-depth experience in system design, part design, integration, tolerance analysis, material selection and product costing. - Experience in designing Plastic injection molding, Die-Casting, Sheet Metal, CNC Machining. - Experience in Pro-Engineer, Creo, Solidworks, Flowtherm, Keysoft rendering. Product Description: The Nokia Small Cell organization provides products for indoor and outdoor Small Cells applications of 3G, 4G and 5G carriers in multiple radio frequency (RF) bands. The products are in full GA deployments with ATT, T-Mobile and other worldwide customers. New customers will be entering trials in 2025. There is future roadmap for new HW variants and designs.
