About The Position
Symbiotic Services is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support complex industrial and commercial projects within a design-build environment. This role combines technical design expertise with project execution. Core Focus Lead mechanical system design (HVAC, piping, ventilation) Translate client needs into practical, cost-effective solutions Support execution alongside project managers and field teams Drive quality, efficiency, and constructability
Requirements
- Strong background in mechanical engineering (HVAC/piping preferred)
- Experience in industrial or commercial environments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced design-build setting
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Practical, solutions-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Design and engineer HVAC, piping, and ventilation systems
- Develop drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Collaborate with project managers on budget and schedule alignment
- Interface with clients to present technical solutions
- Support installation and commissioning
- Ensure compliance with codes and standards
- Contribute to process improvements and standardization
