Requirements

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or Professional degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
Experience: 10+ years of applicable experience. Experience with HVAC design in healing, learning and/or discovery market sectors preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure preferred.
Software Skills: Revit experience required; experience with energy modeling software and selection programs preferred.
Office Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

Experience with HVAC design in healing, learning and/or discovery market sectors preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

Establish design approach at project start-up.
Leads client management.
Attend client, consultant, and design committee meetings.
Communicates and improves some design processes with other team members.
Manage project specific scope, budget and schedule.
Leads in planning, design and documentation of projects; prepares working drawings and stamps drawings.
Participates in all design and construction phases of projects.
Presents design to client and coordinates with other disciplines and consultants.
Participates in project debriefs and lesson’s learned sessions.
Manages teams and assists other project team members in the development and maintenance of workplans.
May be involved in project/client pursuits.
Provide training and leadership through project work to empower, train and develop designers.
