Job Summary: This position will provide mechanical services that meet and exceed a client’s expectations. They will provide expert advice, make key decisions, and develop highly complex elements regarding mechanical design and project development. This position will guide and direct a team of engineers to ensure a project is completed on-time and on-budget. This position is responsible to grow and develop the mechanical department and continue to build successful client relations.

  • Positively motivate and review work performed by team of mechanical engineers.
  • Professionally work with clients to identify goals.
  • Correctly complete billing and budgeting for a project.
  • Coordinate services between mechanical engineer team, clients, and other contractors.
  • Provide descriptive solutions to mechanical design difficulties.
  • Manage a team of engineers and designers; conduct periodic reviews and foster a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Facilitate weekly team meetings and effectively delegate workload to team members.
  • Frequent professional interaction with clients to discover and implement expectations.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
  • P.E. Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
  • 10+ years of working industry experience.
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and organization.
  • Established industry and market expert.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and be a strong decision maker.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Proven ability to maintain excellent integrity and ethical standards within role.
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours as project schedules and deadlines require.
