Requirements

  • Passionate about inventing and building robotic hardware through working closely with a multidisciplinary team
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in hardware design, preferably in robotics or mechatronic systems
  • Expertise in CAD software (Fusion 360, AutoCAD, SolidWorks) , including stress analysis.
  • Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance analysis.
  • Experience with machining, 3D printing, and injection molding
  • For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and rapid prototyping of next-generation robotic system with novel sensors, actuators, and control:
  • Design and prototype robot gripper fingers
  • Design and prototype dexterous hands for humanoid robots
  • Design and prototype hardware for efficient teleoperation.
  • Quickly iterate and bring prototypes in to product s
  • Develop detailed 2D & 3D technical drawing for manufacturing.
  • Ensure tolerances, GD&T, and material selection meet manufacturing capabilities.
  • Maintain accurate CAD-based BOMs and proper revision control .
  • Source parts with vendors and ensure the quality and supply meet team needs.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in robotics hardware, sensors, and AI-driven control architectures.
