The Senior Mechanical Engineer - Thermal will work in our global New Product Development (NPD) team that is responsible for modular integrated data center row and rack-based solutions. They will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring for the HVAC integrity, interoperability, and compatibility of integrated IT infrastructure systems, including racks, power distribution units, and thermal management components in new product development programs and customer projects. Their responsibilities include knowledge of fluid and thermodynamics, 3D modeling and evaluation, validation of Form, Fit, and Function of system integration, creating thermal system schematics, selecting thermal equipment and components, completing system calculations, ensuring compliance with national and local energy requirements, BOM creation, and parts and system documentation. They will work closely with cross-functional team members and provide production support during factory integration. They will help assess and find solutions that positively impact production and quality, and participate in and leads design reviews with customers, engineering team members and other internal work teams. The deal candidate has proven experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in data center infrastructure, exhibits strong technical leadership capabilities, and possesses excellent problem-solving skills with hands-on approach. They've the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and tackle diverse challenges and a track record of on-time project delivery and on budget.
