As a nuclear senior stress engineer on the Mechanical Piping Team, this professional will function as a technical expert or in a lead role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead design execution efforts, along with: The Mechanical Engineering Department is a global team that deliversâ¯high quality, on time design and services projects in the areas of Power, Gas, Fuels & Chemicals, Water and Waste Water, Data Centers, and Mining including everything Mechanically related to Process and Power (from Conventional, Combined Heat and Power, Hydro, Hydrogen, Nuclear, Solar/Renewable, LNG, Ammonia, Fertilizer) projects to specialized Air Quality Control, HVAC, Fire Protection, Piping, Thermal and Renewable performance estimating and testing. The Mechanical Piping design team at Black & Veatch specializes in piping design and stress analysis for mechanical systems. They are experts in detailed analysis of various piping materials, with a focus on addressing complex design challenges and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The U.S. based group has a staff of 30 professionals located in several locations around the country, primarily in Raleigh, NC and the world headquarters in Overland Park, KS.
