In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in engineering and design of the HVAC and plumbing systems in various types of facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program.
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of NFPA standards.
  • Experience with computer-generated HVAC heat loads, energy modeling, and HVAC equipment sizing.
  • Familiarity with technical submittal and bid reviewing processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam Revu.
  • LEED AP certification with experience in obtaining LEED certification for industrial buildings.
  • Extensive experience with large-scale water-cooled chillers.
  • Knowledge of International Codes Council (ICC) Suite of Codes.
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE Handbooks/Standards and ASPE design handbooks.
  • Understanding of SMACNA Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in engineering and design of HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Engage in design and construction activities.
  • Utilize project delivery methods including Traditional Design-Bid-Build and Alternative Conceptual-Bid-Build.
  • Work on facility types such as Power Generation buildings, Substations, Oil & Gas structures, and Energy Storage buildings.
  • Conduct energy audits and efficiency studies.
  • Perform code reviews and applications for facility compliance.
  • Apply sustainable design strategies and LEED certification processes.
