Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineer, Ocean Engineering or related field
• Active Secret Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
• 6 years' documented experience with design, optimization, and integration of marine auxiliary and piping systems, ship machinery integration, cargo handling systems, and weight handling systems calculations and analyses.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and evaluate operation of marine vessels, shipboard auxiliary systems and piping, review and develop technical data packages, provide oversight on development of machinery arrangements, conduct and oversee trade studies.
• Lead engineers in development efforts, coordinate with other functional areas to complete ship design.
• Knowledge of ABS, USN, and industry standards relating to shipboard auxiliary systems.
