In this role, you will have the opportunity to design mechanical systems supporting Conventional and Renewable Power Generation, work collaboratively with various design engineering execution teams across the US and abroad, and perform all aspects of mechanical system design engineering and analysis for assigned systems of responsibility. You will function in a senior-level engineer capacity which includes actively seeking to understand client interests and drivers, assigning tasks to and coordinating with other internal/external team members on complex projects, performing complex research and developing recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection, and understanding, managing, and adhering to project budget, schedule, and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing or equivalent experience in engineering work
  • Minimum of 11 years related work experience
  • Holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries

Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical systems supporting Conventional and Renewable Power Generation
  • Work collaboratively with various design engineering execution teams across the US and abroad
  • Perform all aspects of mechanical system design engineering and analysis for assigned systems of responsibility
  • Actively seek to understand client interests and drivers through normal client contact and through interaction and communication with project leadership
  • Assign tasks to and coordinate with other internal/external team members on complex projects
  • Perform complex research and develop recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection
  • Understand, manage, and adhere to project budget, schedule, and quality requirements
