As our Senior Mechanical Designer & Team Lead, you’ll spend 70% of your time crafting detailed 2D AutoCAD designs for industrial heat-transfer systems and 30% mentoring a small team of designers. Though our clients work almost exclusively in 2D, you may occasionally produce 3D drawings for special requests.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on 2D AutoCAD design in a manufacturing environment
• 4+ years leading engineering staff
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Strong preference for—and commitment to—2D AutoCAD; familiarity with heat-transfer system design
• Consistent career progression without short-term roles
• Onsite availability; residence within a 45-minute drive
• Must be a U.S. citizen or hold a Green Card

Responsibilities

• Create precise 2D AutoCAD drawings for custom heat-transfer equipment and related components.
• Coach, review work, and manage project priorities for a small group of designers.
• Generate basic 3D AutoCAD models when customer requirements dictate.
• Produce and revise a variety of technical schematics, assembly drawings, and fabrication prints.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
