We partner with several Mechanical Product Team departments to provide full system solutions. The Advanced Airframes Department is currently hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer that will be located on site in Tucson, Arizona. Tasks will include design, integration, and test of mechanical-focused hardware using computer-aided design, mechanical analyses, and consistent coordination and communication across engineering teams to ensure successful hardware performance, usually demonstrated through flight tests. This role may also include leading small teams in the completion of above tasks. What You May Do Work across engineering disciplines to propose, design, develop, integrate, and test hardware within the Advanced Airframes mechanical design department Contribute to one or more of our contract-funded and independent research efforts, each of which is in a different phase of development (proposal, design, and integration/test).
