  • Collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing teams to deliver essential mechanical drafting services for products spanning mechanical, optical, laser, and electronics domains.
  • Modify 3D CAD models developed by engineering.
  • Generate precise 2D drawings to support part manufacturing.
  • Coordinate data from multiple sources to produce standardized documentation for New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing environments.
  • Contribute to the success of cross-functional project teams.
  • An associate’s degree or technical certification in Engineering Drafting & Design CAD/CAM, or equivalent hands-on experience in the field is required.
  • Minimum of 6–8 years of experience with 3D solid modeling mechanical CAD design applications; strong preference for proficiency in Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
  • Minimum of 6–8 years of experience with 2D drawing applications, ideally within a research and development (R&D) environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Adobe Illustrator is considered an asset.
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems and a willingness to adapt and expand skills in response to evolving technologies and business requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, including the ability to accurately manipulate and analyze small data sets, identify discrepancies, and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally across multiple functions to achieve shared objectives.
  • Reliable and flexible, with the ability to accept direction from others and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work on site full-time with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working within Product Data Management systems (preferably NX Teamcenter) and Product Lifecycle Management systems (preferably Enovia 3DEXPERIENCE).
  • General knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, including metal and plastic machining, electronics, optics, sheet metal, and casting.
