About The Position

Diné Source is seeking a Senior MBSE Engineer to support mission-critical systems engineering efforts within a complex, distributed environment. The Senior MBSE Engineer will apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to design, develop, integrate, and sustain end-to-end systems throughout their lifecycle. This role supports the development of detailed system requirements, interface definitions, and verification strategies to ensure compliance with client requirements, government standards, and program objectives.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• An active Top Secret clearance is required. Experience working in TS/SCI environments is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
• 5–10 years of experience in systems engineering, integration, and testing within complex environments
• Experience supporting defense, aerospace, or other classified programs is required
• Proficiency with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler or MagicDraw is required, along with a strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle processes, requirements decomposition, interface control, and verification planning
• Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance frameworks such as NIST SP 800-171 is desired

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MBSE artifacts, including block definition diagrams, internal block diagrams, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams, using tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler or similar platforms.
• Translate high-level system strategies into detailed, quantifiable, and testable requirements and maintain traceability across system elements.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to design system interfaces, allocate requirements across hardware and software components, and support end-to-end system decomposition.
• Develop system-level verification procedures and customer acceptance criteria, review and validate test plans, and support integration activities to ensure requirements compliance and seamless system operation.
• Adhere to systems engineering lifecycle processes, configuration management controls, and applicable cybersecurity and government standards.
