About The Position

The Senior Materials Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of customer orders and the efficient acquisition of materials. This position focuses on optimizing freight and inventory management while implementing effective production scheduling and logistics processes. The analyst will work to maintain minimum inventory levels and ensure an uninterrupted flow of production in alignment with delivery schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Level Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or similar.
• 5-7 years of experience in the field.
• 1-3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time delivery of customer orders and acquisition of materials.
• Optimize freight and inventories.
• Implement production scheduling, logistics, and inventory control processes to ensure material availability for uninterrupted production flow.
• Select, motivate, train, and develop a competent materials handling staff.
• Ensure accuracy of system inventory levels.
• Participate in plant layout activities for production and warehouse.
• Anticipate and resolve problems with short-term and permanent corrective actions.
• Assist in developing inventory and freight budgets to establish acceptable inventory levels and freight spending.
• Manage economical inbound/outbound transportation routes, seeking opportunities for shipment consolidation.
