Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Process driven with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Assists co-workers in analyzing and correcting problems encountered in job assignments in order to perform work according to standard operating procedures
  • Pull all BOMs for assigned production lines by piece and stage materials (vinyl racks labeled, hardware carts staged) before shift end
  • Operate warehouse scanners to scan all BOM items and complete Material Exception Forms daily
  • Sign the BOM board and provide a completed report of all staged materials to the Warehouse Lead
  • Return excess or unused materials to stock, dispose of scrap properly, and keep racks clean and organized
  • Submit a daily Material Exception Form with all fields completed, including keep fill and additional BOM items
  • Walk production lines twice daily to restock keep fill items and monitor inventory levels
  • Maintain communication with production and report any low stock risks
  • Assist with restocking, cycle counts, warehouse organization, and handling gaylords, scrap, and empty skids
  • Safely operate forklifts as required
  • Must wear appropriate PPE and maintain a safe working environment
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly fashion
  • Must meet production rates
  • Must perform any other tasks assigned by Manager
