About The Position

The Senior Master Data Specialist at Hach, a Veralto company, plays a crucial role in maintaining product master data to support Sales and Manufacturing sites. This position ensures the accurate and timely provision of approved products for Research and Development, Operations, and Sales, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves collaboration within a global Master Data Management team, focusing on data integrity and compliance with global policies, and supporting various product master data projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Master Data or related role, with at least 3 years of experience in industrial processes.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with PLM (Agile PLM) and ERP systems (Oracle EBS/Cloud), or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English is required; bilingual language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Completing master data creation of new products in PLM/ERP and updates of existing products within agreed SLAs.
  • Daily monitoring and administration of workflows to ensure requests are completed within defined SLAs.
  • Providing daily support to sites with product master data queries and problems.
  • Regularly reviewing product master data records to ensure compliance with global policies.
  • Performing data analysis and executing mass maintenance requests.
  • Developing and conducting communication and training to stakeholders.
  • Supporting the business with product master data projects, such as line moves or acquisitions.
  • Supporting and mentoring the Master Data Specialists.
  • Monitoring, controlling, and authorizing ERP/PLM roles relative to product master data elements.
