About The Position

Roku is seeking an Influencer Marketing Manager to lead and evolve the influencer marketing efforts for Roku Devices. This role is designed for a thinker and a doer who is motivated to build-out this important part of our marketing mix. The ideal candidate must be a subject area authority in the creator economy, with experience activating Influencer Marketing in driving brand and product awareness, engagement, and loyalty while delivering measurable results. You should be passionate about aligning Influencer Marketing to the broader marketing goals while fostering an integrated approach to next-generation storytelling tactics. You will partner cross-functionally across the organization and with external agencies to deliver dynamic, high-impact programs and campaigns that inspire existing and new Roku users in a culturally relevant way.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in social media and Influencer marketing, with a track record of successful campaigns that drive both engagement and brand recognition
  • Strong understanding of algorithms and how interest graph-based content can drive audience growth
  • Ability to translate platform and audience insights into actionable creative strategies
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on cross-departmental partnerships
  • Exceptional project management and organizational abilities, with experience managing budgets and resources
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels

Nice To Haves

  • Talent management and/or talent agency connections experience is a plus
  • Personal experience producing content, editing, storyboarding, writing creative strategies/treatments, is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Set and own the Influencer Marketing strategy and annual roadmap, ensuring alignment with our overall marketing objectives
  • Lead annual and quarterly budget planning for Influencer programming, ensuring effective allocation and prioritization of resources to maximize impact
  • Identify, vet, and recommend Influencer technology needs for Roku adoption and implementation
  • Be the internal champion and chief educator for the creator economy to senior leadership
  • Lead relationships with external agency partners, ensuring they deliver innovative, best-in-class solutions that align with Roku brand values and objectives
  • Set clear expectations and provide strategic guidance to agency teams, driving excellence in creativity, execution, and performance
  • Regularly evaluate agency performance, offering constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Foster a collaborative and productive partnership environment that pushes agency partners to innovate and exceed goals
  • Ensure effective negotiation strategies are implemented to secure partnerships with Influencers at competitive rates, maximizing ROI while maintaining high-quality relationships
  • Stay ahead of emerging social trends, audience behaviors, and platform innovations while forging platform-level relationships with priority social networks and partners
  • Leverage cutting-edge insights to guide strategy and creative direction
  • Establish KPIs and benchmarks for success, leveraging data and analytics to evaluate the success of social campaigns through engagement metrics, algorithm performance, and ROI
  • Use data to inform optimization and future strategy
  • Ensure all campaigns and initiatives are supported by robust measurement and reporting frameworks
  • Deliver insights-driven post-mortems to inform future strategies and enhance program effectiveness
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive benchmarks to position Roku as a leader in influencer marketing
  • Partner with product, PR, and content teams to ensure alignment on brand initiatives and messaging and integrate Influencer and creator strategies into broader brand priorities and goals
  • Support storytelling initiatives by amplifying key product and brand narratives through Influencer channels
  • Work with global counterparts to ensure alignment and sharing of best practices across regions
