About The Position

The position engages various internal and external audiences in the purpose and priorities of Cardinal Health OptiFreight® Logistics key initiatives and strategies with the goal of accelerating company performance. This role directly supports the OptiFreight® Logistics Brand Marketing and Communications team and goals, specifically developing and executing external marketing / communication strategies and deliverables on behalf of the OptiFreight® Logistics brand and customer experiences.

Requirements

  • 6 – 8 years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Applied knowledge in working with social media and digital communications.
  • Knowledge of effective brand communication strategies and customer communication best practices.
  • Team player with the ability to work cross functionally with peers and business leaders.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead external communications discovery and process mapping, inclusive of and prioritizing external communication needs for transformation work
  • Leads customer communication strategy, planning & execution, inclusive of evolving customer experiences and work flow; support customer council activities
  • Manage customer communication needs intake process, draft communications and provide council on final communication format (internal v. external)
  • Own strategy and execution for customer newsletter
  • Support critical external communications with strategic vendor partners
  • Extend support for PR / media requests with enterprise PR team leading efforts
  • Develop strategy and maintenance plan for unique LinkedIn presence (page strategy, content categories, follower accrual strategy, community management, etc.)
  • Support external roll out of evolved brand value proposition and messaging
  • Develop brand playbook, building from brand value proposition work and other resources
  • Support senior leadership thought leadership opportunities across the business
