Under direction of the Senior Managing Director, Marketing & Operations, this full-time position is deeply involved with most, if not all, aspects of US Equestrian marketing and supports projects and events across the department. Key responsibilities include management and execution of both USEF and sponsor branding/activations at National Championship events as well as other key promotional events. This includes recommending deliverables in agreements, gathering specs and due dates for activating, coordinating all logistics involved, support on-site when needed and taking event learnings to provide recommendations on how to improve. Events pertaining to USEF and sponsorship promotional activities include, but are not limited to, the Kentucky Three Day Event, USEF Junior Hunter Finals, North American Youth Championships, the USEF Pony Finals, the USEF Annual Meeting and all other USEF National Championships and special events. This role also manages the branding and event deliverables for the US Equestrian Open Series, coordinating with organizers to ensure event exposure is maximized. Working alongside the Managing Director, Marketing & Operations, this role is responsible for helping lead planning, logistics and execution of the US Equestrian Open Finals. The Senior Marketing Manager, Events will work directly with the USEF Sponsorship team to oversee and lead the sponsor Value in Kind product requests, ordering and fulfillment. This role will work closely with the Sponsorship team as new sponsor packages are created to identify opportunities and lead coordinating event deliverables. The Senior Marketing Manager, Events must effectively communicate both within the Marketing department and USEF as a whole, as well as with individuals outside of the organization, and must be timely in responding to all. Specific responsibilities include sponsor and USEF branding management, prize list and program ad coordination, cross department promotion coordination and communication, VIK tracking, and ensuring that all project management databases (including Trello) are up-to-date. This position will also support USEF marketing campaigns, promotional activities and material development as directed. This includes supporting the USEF Strategic Plan goal of reaching 1 million members & fans. This position requires excellent organizational, attention to details, time management, and verbal and written communication skills.
