About The Position

itD is seeking a Senior Marketing Analyst – Salesforce Data Cloud & Audience Strategy to support Company’s Business Messaging Marketing organization by building and scaling advanced audience segmentation and marketing analytics capabilities. This role is critical to enabling data-driven marketing campaigns that reach millions of customers by translating complex customer data into actionable audience strategies, automated reporting, and measurable business impact. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud, advanced SQL, and marketing analytics, along with a strong track record of building scalable audience segments, partnering with data engineers, and communicating complex insights to cross-functional stakeholders. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data engineering, data science, or a related analytics role.
  • Expert-level SQL skills, including complex queries, CTEs, window functions, query optimization, and large-scale datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (or comparable CDPs), including segment creation, Calculated Insights, and activation workflows.
  • Proven experience building audience signals and audience segments for marketing campaigns.
  • Experience partnering with Data Engineers to build and maintain data pipelines.
  • Strong experience with reporting automation, including scheduled reports, automated refreshes, and self-service dashboards.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Hive, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Advanced Google Sheets and Excel skills.
  • Working knowledge of Python for automation and API-based data workflows.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and marketing automation workflows.
  • Familiarity with CRM data structures and account-level data models.
  • Background in B2B marketing analytics or enterprise marketing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and activate audience segments in Salesforce Data Cloud using signal identification and SQL-based Calculated Insights.
  • Design and implement audience strategies that support large-scale marketing campaigns and revenue opportunity sizing.
  • Partner closely with Data Engineers to design and maintain data pipelines that feed audience systems and marketing reporting.
  • Pull, clean, and analyze large datasets (millions of records) to deliver insights that inform marketing and sales decisions.
  • Develop automated reporting solutions and self-service dashboards to track campaign performance and marketing KPIs.
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical audience definitions and segmentation logic.
  • Ensure data quality, troubleshoot discrepancies, and improve reliability across audience and reporting systems.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to marketing, sales, and cross-functional partners.
  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
  • Collaborate with the itD practice team on marketing analytics and data strategy thought leadership.
  • Contribute to client case studies, blogs, and learning materials.
  • Build materials that support itD’s Digital Transformation practice.
  • Attend internal itD networking events (virtual and in person).
  • Partner with leadership on career development and fast-track growth opportunities.
