Sojern is seeking a seasoned, in-market digital advertising professional to join our Americas Hotel-Property Sales Team as a Senior Market Sales Manager. In this role, you will be exclusively responsible for growing Sojern's acquisition and revenue in the local New York City Market. The Senior Market Sales Manager will develop territory plans and identify key accounts to expand and maintain a high-quality pipeline of hotel prospects and clients. You will spend your days attending local hospitality networking events and conducting in-market face-to-face prospecting and client meetings. It is expected that you will spend 30-40% of your time client-facing, engaging with potential clients and building relationships that drive business growth. Your primary responsibilities will include leading the development and growth of your NYC-based book of business, engaging qualified and interested prospects through face-to-face in-market prospecting, including hotel visits, client meetings, and a high volume of outbound calls and email activities. You will create and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals that educate the market and demonstrate Sojern's value proposition, while achieving monthly quotas through new business acquisition. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work effectively with Sales, Client Success, and Product Marketing Teams to develop relevant advertising programs for key clients. Proficiency in Salesforce is essential, as you will need to report on KPIs, including individual results, and identify recommendations for improvements around the sales process, tools, and efficiency. Fostering an energetic and collaborative team environment is also a critical aspect of this position.
