About The Position

We are looking for a talented individual… To join our team as a Senior Market Outreach Specialist, this role will focus on expanding residential energy efficiency opportunities in Oregon through contractor engagement, community outreach, and program delivery leadership. The ideal candidate is a proven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and brings strong organizational, collaborative, interpersonal, and adaptive skills. This role is part of a program delivery team responsible for implementing innovative residential energy-efficiency programs on behalf of a client serving Oregon customers. In this remote, field-facing role, the Senior Market Outreach Specialist will build and maintain relationships with local market actors, enroll and train new contractors, and develop strategies to recruit participants, drive projects, generate energy savings, and engage communities statewide, while also supporting outreach, recruitment, and program quality assurance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the local program and client representative to contractors, customers, and partners statewide, building strong relationships grounded in sales, customer service, and relationship management principles
  • Maintain ongoing communication with market actors—including contractors, municipalities, community-based organizations, utilities, and public authorities—to assess needs, gather feedback, and support program enhancements
  • Lead contractor outreach, recruitment, enrollment, and participation by clearly communicating program requirements and developing effective engagement strategies
  • Attend project and stakeholder meetings, disseminate program information, and help deliver educational workshops, contractor trainings, and other public-facing engagements
  • Track and report on market activity, document stakeholder interactions, and prepare written summaries to inform program design, performance tracking, and continuous improvement
  • Travel regularly throughout a defined territory in Oregon to meet with program partners, support events, and represent the program in the field, including occasional evenings or weekends
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to manage multiple priorities, applying strong organizational, communication, presentation, and Microsoft Office skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
