A Day in the Life This position plays a critical leadership role in ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality operations within the Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty (PTA) production area. The Senior Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for leading and optimizing daily manufacturing activities, driving safety and quality performance, and ensuring production schedules and operational objectives are consistently met. This role provides senior-level supervision for approximately 60 individual contributors, including operators, team leads, group leads, and process leads, within a 20,000 sq. ft. cleanroom environment. In addition to direct supervisory responsibilities, this role is expected to mentor front-line leaders, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and partner cross-functionally to improve efficiency, cost, and delivery performance. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in a regulated manufacturing or cleanroom environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including responsibility for leading large teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provides senior-level leadership for production area(s) to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Leads daily manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prioritizes and balances production schedules based on product demand, new product introductions, equipment efficiency, and material availability.
  • Partners with engineering, quality, supply chain, and planning teams to proactively resolve production issues and drive operational improvements.
  • Develops and administers operating plans, procedures, and budgets.
  • Makes budgetary recommendations related to capital expenditures, staffing levels, and direct/indirect labor.
  • Coaches, mentors, and develops supervisors, team leads, and process leads to build leadership capability and bench strength.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles and data-driven decision-making.
  • Develops staffing plans, schedules, and manpower requirements to support business needs.
  • Serves as a role model for safety, quality, and compliance culture within the manufacturing organization.
