Utilizing your mechanical and/or electrical aptitude, you’ll perform a variety of systems integration equipment and/or process operations involving an application of technical skills. The Senior Manufacturing Operations Technician interprets engineering drawings and diagrams, notifies appropriate personnel for changes needed to the engineering configuration database and maintains/revises manufacturing work instructions in electronic instruction and reporting systems. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Screen Printer and Metalphoto Anodized Label Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in screen printing techniques and processing Metalphoto Anodized labels, ensuring high-quality results that meet design specifications and production timelines.

Requirements

  • An Associate’s degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance functions on manufacturing equipment
  • General subject matter expertise (SME) for assigned area
  • Proven experience in screen printing and working with Metalphoto Anodized labels.
  • Ability to work in a darkroom environment and handle photo-sensitive materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex documents.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain screen printing equipment to produce multi-color designs on various materials.
  • Prepare screens, inks, and substrates for printing processes.
  • Process Metalphoto labels using photo-sensitive aluminum and chemicals in a light-safe (darkroom) environment.
  • Monitor print quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy.
  • Set oven temperatures and timers for curing inks.
  • Interpret work instructions, engineering changes, and project specifications.
  • Use rubber stamping equipment to mark part numbers on parts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety protocols.
