About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for safety and quality minded Senior Manufacturing Managers (Level L) to lead LSCC 737 Team in Renton, Washington on multiple shifts. A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading inclusive teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives and influence change
• Ability to work any shift including weekends and overtime

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
• 3+ years of experience in coaching, guiding and mentoring teams
• 3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, compliance, quality and cost
• 3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment

Responsibilities

• Leads by demonstrating and holding all accountable to the Boeing Values and Behaviors.
• Leads, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.
• Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.
• Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
• Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
