Connection and interface between Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Customer facing organizations focused on product / manufacturing readiness, execution and delivery for GE Aerospace Defense and Systems New Product and Technology Demonstration programs. The senior Product Operations hardware owner establishes and influences approaches and projects to affect quality, delivery, efficiency, and effectiveness of their cross-functional dotted-line team to meet program requirements. Role is guided by commercial, USG, and GE Aerospace practices and policies with moderate autonomy execute to program requirements.

  • Hardware leadership: Provide technical, cost, delivery, and quality leadership for assigned hardware.
  • Program planning: Support the definition of overall program plans and translate them into actionable requirements and milestones for hardware procurement.
  • Manufacturing representation: Serve as the manufacturing representative for PCB, tollgate, and technical reviews for assigned hardware.
  • Strategy and policy development: Contribute to strategy and policy development, ensuring delivery within your area of responsibility.
  • Decision-making and problem-solving: Use judgment and technical expertise to make decisions and solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, or customer engagements.
  • Collaboration and communication: Act as a resource for colleagues, lead small projects, and develop persuasion skills to influence others on topics within your field.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in relevant job family) + 5 years' experience.
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
