About The Position
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, equipment and systems, as well as ensuring the quality, productivity and compliance with industry standards (UL, CSA, IEEE, NEMA). The role involves supporting the production area to ensure that projects flow through the manufacturing process smoothly and that communication between the engineering and manufacturing departments is clear, concise and efficient. Process engineering will be imperative to this role's success. The ideal candidate will combine a strong technical foundation with innovative problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement in the manufacturing environment with Engineering support when requested.
