JOB SUMMARY Optimizing production manufacturing processes through developing, planning, and implementing improvements that positively impact safety, quality, labor, and delivery utilizing engineering principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an Accredited University
• Minimum 7 years' experience in manufacturing, automotive preferred

Nice To Haves

• Past experience in Production Supervision a plus

Responsibilities

• Production line technical support
• Provide necessary tooling, routers, labor standards, raw material structure, make vs. buy analysis, process instructions, and technical support for the timely implementation of engineering changes
• Accountable for achieving goals and objectives for the Mfg. Engineering group and Operations organization
• Utilize PLM system including reviewing product design changes and assess manufacturing impact
• Recognize labor impact with process/design changes and implement plans with little impact to Mfg. departments
• Develop business cases, write AFEs for funding procurement
• Develop process changes/improvements using SPC, PFMEA, and control plans
• Utilize root cause analysis methodology to solving manufacturing issues
• Will be working within an ISO 9000 quality system and produce documentation acceptable to the customer
• Document and report work activity
