The Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Wafer Processing is responsible for using their hands-on industry experience to develop, ramp, and sustain wafer component separation equipment for medical device manufacturing. They will evaluate current capabilities, available technology in the industry, and product requirements to develop and improve current methods, processes, and equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Direct hands-on experience with component separation is required.
• Experience with micron scale precision equipment and process tuning.

Nice To Haves

• Direct hands-on experience with post-fabrication wafer processing equipment including segmentation and separation equipment.
• Ability to translate complex equipment instructions into clear, actionable work instructions and training materials for technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead the process and equipment development activities related to wafer component separation equipment.
• Troubleshoot, perform root cause analyses, and implement effective countermeasures when process excursions occur.
• Tune and optimize separation process in order to increase the yield, throughput, and OEE.
• Support the implementation of process control systems using statistical methods.
• Support capacity transformation programs.
