We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our second-shift operations. This role is critical for driving manufacturing excellence and supporting advanced DDP product lines. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise and a proven track record in process optimization, product transitions, and design improvements for complex semiconductor equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 7+ years of direct experience with DDP products in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and implement permanent solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in: Addressing field non-conformances with closed-loop corrective actions.
  • Design improvements for HDP chambers.
  • Transitioning CVD products into manufacturing.
  • Optimizing test/build documentation and developing test fixtures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly communicate technical information and build consensus across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain methods, operating sequences, and processes for the fabrication of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
  • Lead initiatives to address field non-conformances through closed-loop corrective actions that permanently resolve issues.
  • Drive design improvements for DDP chambers to enhance reliability and performance.
  • Manage product transitions for DDP systems into manufacturing, ensuring smooth ramp-up and adherence to quality standards.
  • Optimize test and build documentation to improve efficiency and reduce errors across manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement test fixtures to support robust testing and validation of assemblies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate the release of product improvements and new products, managing manufacturing engineering projects as needed.
  • Apply Design for Excellence (DFx) principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs while improving quality.
  • Determine time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
  • Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for assembly or system testing issues; conduct PFMEA and provide detailed reports.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
