Are you looking for a rewarding job?  Join our team as a manufacturing electrical engineer (MEE) on the HF Comm & TCN Team in Cedar Rapids, IA, where you'll apply engineering concepts and analysis tools to drive transformative changes in manufacturing operations. Your focus will be on improving product quality, reducing costs, and optimizing production flow, contributing directly to our team’s efficiency and competitiveness. This role offers a blend of independent initiative and teamwork, collaborating closely with manufacturing engineers, production personnel, management, and support organizations. Located onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our operational excellence and innovation. Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

Responsibilities

  • You will provide technical interpretations of drawings and specifications and analyze and resolve design tolerance problems
  • You will provide information to evaluate, select, and order capital test equipment and complete cost/payback analysis
  • You will develop, implement, and maintain test methods and processes in the manufacture and test of sub-assembly, module, and top level product for established product line
  • You will eliminate/reduce test defects and improve test yields for routine issues of various levels of scope
  • You will provide information to evaluate Customer Returned Good (CRG) activity to identify potential failure trends
  • You will perform room cause analysis and take corrective action to resolve test failures
