American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Senior Managers, Software Engineering to, under the supervision of a Director, Engineering, identify and resolve inefficiencies in the development process. Review requirements specifications for defects, performance, reliability, scalability, testability, usability, and security. Define requirements for new features and build product roadmaps. Monitor and track resolution of defects, coordinating with engineers in order to prevent, report, and resolve the issues. Recommend changes to APIs and system designs in collaboration with architects, tech leads, and developers. Plan process and technology improvement projects and collaborate on execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience with building software development plans, architecting and driving the execution of enterprise solutions for engineering teams
  • 5 years of experience with Agile rapid application development environment
  • 5 years of experience with applying software development methodologies, continuous integration and development, and integrated test environments
  • 5 years of experience with designing scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise-level implementations
  • 5 years of experience with working on custom application development, and declarative features, including Apex, Visualforce, and LWC
  • 5 years of experience with leading and mentoring high-performing engineering teams, driving successful project delivery and fostering innovation within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • 5 years of experience with release management and deployment strategies for large-scale Salesforce projects, including CI/CD pipelines
  • 5 years of experience with leveraging Salesforce-provided tools and features to optimize business processes
  • 5 years of experience with robust integration strategies using various API methods, including REST and SOAP
  • 5 years of experience with middleware platforms, including MuleSoft
