About The Position

The Senior Manager at EXLService.com, LLC in New York, NY, will develop analytics hypotheses and validate them based on analysis of client data, external research, and communications with client team. Present findings to working-level client teams. Develop communications for senior management. Perform project task management; communications, including deck writing; coordination of all sub-team efforts; delivery of output; facilitation and gathering of client feedback on problem structuring; and management of feedback loop frequency with EXL onshore/offshore resources. Create data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large data sets. Use EXL analytics methodologies and analysis tools, including SPSS and SAS to perform data extraction/understanding/analysis, variable reduction, Big Data processing, model development/stabilization, and model validation. Use SAS, SPSS, R, Hive, Python CART and other statistical software to carry out analysis, drive conclusions and reformulate highly technical information into understandable terms for team and client presentations. Evaluate data quality, analyze data to identify trends or relationships among variables, and prepare analytical reports. Use visualization tools, including Tableau and Power BI to build dashboards for senior leadership. Ensure best practices on coding, solution structuring, communication, and presentation are followed within the team. Manage delivery of output with adequate quality control and reviewing analysts' work output to ensure the results or findings are error free and all assumptions are correctly applied before review with senior managers. Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Telecommuting permitted 2 days per week.

Requirements

• Requires Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, economics, mathematics, analytics or a directly related field.
• Plus two (2) years of experience in Statistician or a related occupation.
• Requires two (2) years of professional experience with data analytics or data engineering.
• Must have two years of experience with SQL, Python, and Airflow to create data pipelines.
• Experience using visualization tools including Tableau and Power BI to create KPI tracking dashboards.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms, including AWS, GCP and Azure.
• Experience with Big Data Technologies, including Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, and Spark.
• Experience creating and maintaining data pipelines, data marts, and dashboards using SQL, Python, Pyspark, and Airflow.
• Experience with R and Python to build machine learning and deep learning models.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, economics, mathematics, analytics or a directly related field plus five (5) years of experience in Statistician or a related occupation in lieu of a Master's degree plus two (2) years of experience.
