About The Position

Exponent is currently seeking a Senior Manager for our Construction Consulting Practice in Alexandria, VA. In this role, you will work as part of a team which consults on large complex construction disputes. You will be responsible for growing our Construction Disputes business, with a focus on developing, expanding, and managing client relationships domestically and internationally. This includes identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities and promoting Exponent's diverse service offerings in collaboration with other consultants in the Construction Consulting Practice and across the firm. Additionally, you will participate in the Company's Business Development initiatives, engage actively in Industry and Trade Associations, manage projects, execute projects, and deliver final work products to clients. You will also be involved in recruiting, developing, and mentoring staff in the Construction Consulting Practice.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • 15+ years of experience in project/construction management or construction consulting
  • Project site experience and good technical knowledge is desired
  • Experience in construction claims, litigation services, and construction consulting services is desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
