The expected pay range for this position is $175,000.00 - $225,000.00 USD annually, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. As a Senior Manager, you will lead client engagements, develop and manage a team of consultants, and provide expert guidance on Workday Financials best practices. This role requires the ability to manage multiple clients with competing needs, deliver creative solutions through targeted resources and technical expertise, and collaborate across cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for system configuration, business process optimization, and client support, ensuring successful Workday implementations and ongoing enhancements. With a focus on mentorship, project leadership, and continuous improvement, you will play a key role in driving client success and Workday adoption.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of functional experience with Workday Financial Management with demonstrated success of hands-on experience with delivering Workday solutions in this area.
  • 4+ years of experience as an Implementation Manager, or Systems Architect with Workday, a Workday Partner or Workday Client.
  • 2+ years of experience doing project management.
  • Deep functional knowledge around financial systems and processes with advanced report writing skills; and experience building dashboards, custom validations, condition rules and calculated fields.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Ability to support effectively multiple customers concurrently on short duration projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree in Finance/Accounting.

Nice To Haves

  • Adaptive insights solutions experience is a plus.
  • Current or previous Workday Certification highly desired including Workday PRO.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of consultants.
  • Lead engagements as part of the Workday Financials Practice and recommend best practices related to Workday functionality.
  • Manage support requests related to Workday Financials which requires a great deal of workstream management and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Subject matter expert developing system configuration solutions, composite reports and calculated fields; demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems, and assist the client in testing the Workday solution.
  • Modify and redevelop/engineer business processes based on unique client requirements and best practices across the Workday platform.
  • Support client-side implementations including assembling data gathering workbooks as well as system testing and UAT.
  • Work with clients to help convert legacy data into Workday.
  • Establish effective working relationships with clients and outside vendors.
  • Identify client enhancement opportunities for existing and new features introduced across new Workday releases.
  • Perform peer reviews, manage, train and mentor junior staff.
