About The Position

We are looking for a motivated, strategic, and execution-oriented individual who will join our Planning and Operations team within the Wealth Advisory Managed Solutions (WAMS) organization. The Senior Manager of WAMS Business Oversight will be responsible for supporting the governance and oversight of both WAMS and Fidelity Institutional Wealth Advisor (FIWA) through centralized frameworks, streamlined processes, and effective controls with the following core responsibilities: Maintain and execute governance and oversight frameworks, processes, and standards; collaborate with product leaders to drive consistent adoption of frameworks and processes. Provide oversight of service providers, including sub-advisors, model managers, and implementation managers, supporting our investment advisor (IA) sponsored products. Manage and run the WAMS & FIWA executive governance structures (committees, reporting, charters, etc.); produce high-quality governance reports, dashboards, and risk insights for senior leadership and committees. Provide applicable WAMS and FIWA reporting to the FI governance structure. Monitor emerging risks, issues, or errors requiring senior leadership attention; oversee issue management processes, ensuring timely remediation and proper root-cause analysis. Coordinate and prepare for regulatory reviews, internal and external audits, and examinations; track and oversee remediation of findings or issues with owners. Ensure adherence to applicable financial services regulations and supervisory guidance. Support execution of applicable Planning & Operations controls. Support coordination of regulatory, risk, and audit reporting across FIWA stakeholders and business partners. Support product-level strategy discussions when applicable to investment advisor (IA) fiduciary responsibilities. Requirements

  • BS degree required.
  • Five plus (5+) years of financial services experience, preferably in risk, compliance, audit, oversight, or product management roles.
  • Interest in the Fidelity intermediary marketplace, managed products, and managed platforms, including familiarity with Fidelity products and services.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are required.
  • A demonstrated ability to define, design and document processes and controls.
  • Project Management and project delivery skills required to successfully implement oversight enhancements and streamlined processes.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly, concisely and persuasively present business issues, recommendations and solutions, both in writing and verbally.
  • Excellent judgment, issue management experience, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong hands-on project leadership skills with the ability to complete complex projects as a part of a small team within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team orientation; commitment to excellence; attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively across the Fidelity Enterprise and possess strong influence skills while maintaining productive long-term working relationships.
