About The Position

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of integrated digital marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and measurable business growth for Motiva USA. This role oversees digital initiatives across multiple channels, including paid media, social, search, web, and email, while ensuring full compliance with healthcare and pharmaceutical industry regulations and internal company standards. The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will leverage data-driven insights, innovative digital solutions, and strategic agency partnerships to strengthen Motiva’s market presence, support product launches, and deliver meaningful value to healthcare professionals, patients, and key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • MBA in Digital Marketing (priority requirement)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or related field
  • Web Strategy degree or equivalent experience accepted as an alternative
  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with senior-level responsibility
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, medical device, femtech, or wellness industries
  • Proven experience managing paid digital and paid social campaigns
  • Experience tracking analytics and performance using GA4 and reporting dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio)
  • Strong experience in lead management, email marketing, and web strategy
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Pardot
  • CMS experience with WordPress and Drupal
  • Working knowledge of Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube) and Meta Ads Manager
  • Experience with SEO and SEM best practices
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and creative platforms
  • Advanced English required; intermediate Spanish preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed to the Austin office, Costa Rica headquarters, and quarterly in-person meetings

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of Motiva USA’s digital and social media strategy, guiding the creation of compliant, audience-centric content for patients and healthcare professionals
  • Partner with social and paid media agencies to plan, execute, optimize, and report on campaign performance, translating results into clear business outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory teams to ensure all digital activities comply with FDA, FTC, and internal standards
  • Increase Motiva U.S. brand awareness and engagement across platforms such as Instagram, including brand content, UGC, and influencer collaborations
  • Oversee the influencer program, including selection, contracting, content development, and performance tracking, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical marketing regulations
  • Lead website strategy and management, ensuring content accuracy, compliance, accessibility, mobile optimization, and strong user experience for patients and HCPs
  • Identify and implement conversion rate optimization initiatives to improve lead generation
  • Execute SEO and SEM strategies to maximize visibility across search engines
  • Manage CMS platforms (Drupal and WordPress) and partner with IT and development teams to ensure website security, scalability, and performance
  • Develop and execute email marketing programs that drive education, engagement, and conversion
  • Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud to deliver segmented, personalized, and compliant email campaigns
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly digital performance analysis, tracking KPIs such as engagement, conversion, and ROI
  • Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring cost efficiency and campaign impact across channels
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to brand and leadership teams
  • Ensure all digital communications are ethical, compliant, and aligned with regulatory requirements
