The Senior Manager, Transfer Pricing & Tax Planning is a pivotal role within Vertiv, responsible for executing global tax planning projects and leading the company's global transfer pricing planning and compliance processes. This position plays a critical role in assisting with quarterly and annual financial reporting, ensuring that the company meets its obligations in a timely manner. The successful candidate will oversee processes related to global transfer pricing compliance and documentation, ensuring that all necessary reports are filed on time and that the company is fully compliant with relevant regulations. In addition to compliance, the Senior Manager will lead and manage projects that involve intellectual property and supply chain optimization. This includes coordinating with Vertiv's global business leaders to monitor and review functions, ensuring that operations are aligned with transfer pricing policies. The role also involves integrating significant acquisitions into Vertiv's supply chain, ensuring that compliance and documentation processes are met effectively. Staying knowledgeable of emerging legislation, regulations, and guidance that could impact Vertiv's policies is essential. The Senior Manager will develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with these changes. Furthermore, the role requires the development of defense strategies and conflict mitigation approaches for any controversies related to intercompany policies. The Senior Manager will also lead the transfer pricing aspects of quarterly and annual income tax provision processes, including the development of FIN 48 reserves on intercompany policies and providing necessary support for significant positions. Finally, overseeing and managing external tax advisors is a key responsibility, ensuring that projects are executed within budget and that deliverables are met in a timely manner. This role is integral to the financial health and compliance of Vertiv, contributing to the company's strategic priorities and core principles.
