About The Position

Dornier MedTech is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Training & Development Manager – Clinical & Product Education to design, develop, and implement a best-in-class training program that enhances the knowledge, skills, and performance of our employees. This individual will lead the creation of a comprehensive onboarding suite, beginning with the Sales Team, and expand to support roles across the organization. The role requires a strong ability to collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), clinical professionals, and business leaders to develop engaging training content covering clinical procedures, in-depth product education, and Dornier’s Endourology portfolio. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring our teams are confident, well-equipped, and customer-ready.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Life Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in training design and delivery, preferably within the medical device, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven success in building training programs from the ground up, including onboarding and product/clinical education.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and training technology platforms.
  • Experience working with clinical SMEs and translating complex medical procedures into effective training.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Program Development & Leadership
  • Design, implement, and maintain a scalable, best-in-class training and onboarding program tailored initially for Sales and later for other functional areas.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, clinicians, and product leaders to develop comprehensive training modules on clinical procedures and Dornier Endourology products.
  • Establish a structured onboarding framework, ensuring new hires quickly gain proficiency in clinical knowledge, product expertise, and sales competencies.
  • Content Creation & Delivery
  • Develop engaging training materials including eLearning modules, facilitator guides, videos, case studies, and assessments.
  • Translate complex clinical and product information into accessible, effective, and interactive learning experiences.
  • Ensure training programs meet compliance and regulatory standards for medical device education.
  • Continuous Improvement & Expansion
  • Measure training effectiveness using defined KPIs (knowledge retention, performance impact, adoption rates).
  • Continuously update and refine content to reflect new products, updated procedures, or evolving market needs.
  • Expand training suite to additional business functions (e.g., Service, Marketing, Operations).
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with Sales Leadership, HR, Product Management, and Marketing to align training objectives with business priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with internal experts and external clinicians to ensure accuracy and credibility of content.
  • Act as a training ambassador, promoting a culture of continuous learning across the organization.
