About The Position

As a Senior Manager, Total Rewards for Walmart U.S. Supply Chain and Transportation, you will design and deliver compensation strategies that support one of the largest and most complex operating networks in the country. This role directly impacts frontline associates across distribution, transportation, and supply chain operations, ensuring rewards programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with Walmart’s purpose, values, and operational priorities. You will serve as a trusted advisor to business and field leadership, translating data and market insights into practical, scalable solutions that support attraction, retention, and performance. What you'll do... Lead the implementation of Total Rewards and compensation strategies supporting Walmart U.S. Supply Chain and Transportation, aligned to business needs and associate experience. Partner closely with supply chain and transportation field leadership to advise on compensation decisions impacting hourly and management populations. Conduct data‑driven analyses and market assessments, translating insights into clear recommendations and compelling narratives for senior stakeholders. Design, administer, and continuously improve compensation programs that balance competitiveness, simplicity, compliance, and operational effectiveness. Drive execution of key compensation initiatives by identifying operational needs, setting priorities, and removing barriers to delivery. Serve as a subject matter expert on compensation trends, risks, and best practices affecting large, distributed, hourly workforces. Lead cross‑functional partnerships to ensure alignment and timely delivery of rewards programs across supply chain and transportation operations. Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs, recommending enhancements that improve equity, engagement, and efficiency. Support change management and communication strategies to ensure programs are well understood and effectively adopted in the field.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data, assess market trends, and influence decisions through clear, actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence across multiple teams and levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for field, operational, and executive audiences.
  • Experience in Total Rewards or Compensation within a large, complex organization, with strong preference for operational, retail, logistics, or supply chain environments.
  • Deep expertise in designing and implementing programs for hourly and frontline populations.
  • A mindset of continuous improvement, resilience, and innovation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field and 3 years’ experience in human resources, compensation, finance, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in human resources, compensation, finance, or related area.

  • The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00
  • Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
