About The Position

The Digital Item Enablement team at Walmart is focused on enhancing the eCommerce experience by ensuring customers can easily access the products they want. This role involves strategic management and delivery of initiatives that support automated and sustainable processes for online retail. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to align business and tech strategies, ensuring that Walmart's online offerings meet customer needs effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, Merchandising Operations, or Digital Merchandising.
  • Experience working with large data sets and visualization platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use basic SQL and draw insights from data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Background at the intersection of Retail, eCommerce, Analytics & Data Science.
  • Knowledge of creating inclusive digital experiences and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and apply Walmart's strategy to manage Transactability, collaborating with stakeholders to align enterprise goals.
  • Coordinate and oversee job-related activities, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to support business needs.
  • Provide recommendations for complex business issues and develop business cases for projects with projected ROI.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable projects and tasks that align with overall business strategy.
  • Generate graphical representations of data and develop reports and dashboards for data-driven decision-making.
  • Assist in exploratory data analysis and conduct statistical experiments using tools like Python and R.
  • Identify potential risks related to process and system changes.
