About The Position

Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Business Relationship Management, Sr. Manager in the Business Relationship Management organization. This team serves as a strategic bridge between Information Technology and the business, helping departments turn vision into action. We guide ideation, facilitate solutioning, and align business goals with technology capabilities through collaborative workshops, project intake support, and long-term roadmap planning. As a trusted advisor, you will help business stakeholders navigate the software development lifecycle and explore emerging technologies, including Gen AI, within Choice’s governance framework. With strong domain knowledge and a passion for continuous learning, you will foster partnerships across the organization and lead the strategic use of technology to drive innovation and measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in Business Relationship Management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Proficient in process and story mapping, and prototyping.
  • Demonstrates key competencies to include: Strategic thinking skills, nimble learner and strong understanding of Gen AI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Partners and collaborates with business stakeholders to transform their business through the application of technology.
  • Partners, cross-departmentally, to define business needs and goals to define high level business requirements/user stories.
  • Develops relationships at all levels of the organization, acting as a trusted partner and liaison between technical and non-technical departments.
  • Complete annual pulse surveys to document business challenges and opportunities, evaluate and compile data to report to senior leadership trends and insights to assist in identifying strategic projects for the next 18 months.
  • Leverages AI tools to improve efficiencies within the team and improve clarity in project requests.
  • Assists and/or leads efforts tied to current state and future state assessments and RFP’s being driven by the business to explore and further define their technology approach.
  • Performs market analysis in relations to the competitive landscape and how it leverages technology within the different hospitality segments.
  • Anticipate future technological needs and business requirements to help drive new technological approaches.
