About The Position

Slalom is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent and People Experience, to help shape and scale modern, human-centered talent management practices across our global organization. Sitting within our Talent and People Experience team, this leader will bring strong judgment, adaptability, and a track record of delivering talent solutions that scale across teams and geographies. This is a high-impact, hands-on role that blends strategy, systems thinking, and execution. The ideal candidate will bring an understanding of various talent areas like career growth frameworks, development, succession planning, and performance, and the ability to flex across design, stakeholder engagement, and implementation.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience in Talent Management, Performance, Organizational Development, or related fields.
  • Experience designing and operationalizing talent strategies across the employee lifecycle.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • A practical, people-first mindset with a passion for making performance conversations more meaningful.
  • Ability to shift between strategic design and operational delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and refinements of Slalom's career frameworks and job architecture.
  • Help operationalize multidimensional growth pathways that reflect varied career experiences.
  • Partner with Compensation and other teams to ensure the job architecture supports internal mobility.
  • Use performance insights to inform how we evolve career frameworks over time.
  • Partner across Talent, DEI, Learning, and Analytics to align performance and development practices.
  • Contribute to the integration of performance, succession, engagement, and development initiatives.
  • Use systems thinking to identify intersections and opportunities across the talent ecosystem.
  • Support the evolution of Slalom's performance philosophy.
  • Collaborate with key partners and the business to ensure our performance approach supports clarity.
  • Contribute to the design and refinement of performance tools, processes, and communications.
  • Support initiatives that strengthen Slalom's feedback culture.
  • Design and deliver tools and enablement resources that help managers and employees give and receive feedback.
  • Partner with business leaders to build skills and mindsets that support feedback-rich team environments.
  • Lead or contribute to enterprise-wide talent initiatives beyond performance.
  • Use data, employee insights, and research to inform iterative improvements to our performance programs.
  • Act as a connector between strategic vision and tactical execution.
  • Build trusted relationships across Talent, business leaders, and employee resource groups.
  • Contribute to change management and communications that build excitement for new practices.
  • Provide coaching and thought partnership to people leaders and HR partners on performance-related topics.
