About The Position

As part of the Enterprise Mobility and Edge Infrastructure area, you'll lead a team of engineers to create wireless device solutions to drive Walmart innovation to the next level. You will work with the top tech industry leaders such as Google, Apple, Samsung, Zebra, and VMware to drive long term retail strategies. You will also be working with lesser-known innovation leaders to help develop cost effective, cutting edge innovation for the Walmart Environment. You will also be responsible for driving efficiency and continuous improvement to one of the largest mobile device deployments in the world. You will be in the unique position to be of service to both our customers and our associates as a member of this organization supporting all segments of Walmart. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science and 4 years systems engineering experience OR Master of Science and 3 years systems engineering experience OR PhD OR 6 years of experience
  • Previous experience working with wireless 802.11 technology and/or iOS and Android Operating Systems
  • Strong background in technology
  • Familiar with creating and exhibiting presentations for various levels of management
  • Experience in creating/performing annual performance reviews
  • Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area and 3 Years of relevant experience in configuration management, developing automation for Provisioning and Orchestration
  • Experience developing and managing service-level objectives (SLOs)/service level indicators (SLIs) for Infrastructure Service availability and performance
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices

  • Developing and enhancing products - overseeing product roadmaps, aligning business and technical needs, analyzing device and platform data, turning customer visions into actionable initiatives, determining rollout strategy, and managing risks
  • Influencing vision and strategies for your product family, using domain expertise, internal and external best practices, identifying customer opportunities, understanding business cases, and approving objectives
  • Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, influencing and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership
  • Providing overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs
  • Building a team environment by partnering to solve problems and staying focused till there is a solution
