Collins Aerospace is looking to hire a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the performance of the supply chain team for the Oxygen businesses located in Lenexa KS, and Batangas Philippines. As our Senior Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be the go-to leader for solving problems, removing roadblocks, and ensuring suppliers deliver on time. The manager will have a history of strong leadership, and a collaborative mindset to assist in the continued transformation as a strategic procurement business partner. This role is about more than managing processes—it’s about jumping in when issues arise, driving solutions, and keeping production moving. Working closely with suppliers worldwide, you’ll play a critical role in delivering affordable, high-quality parts that meet the dynamic needs of our customers. You’ll not only fight today’s fires but also drive long-term process improvements that strengthen supply chain performance and enhance profitability. This is an onsite role in Lenexa, KS and could have up to 20% travel. This role is eligible for relocation.

  • Drive performance of the supply chain to meet or exceed quality, delivery and cost targets.
  • Manage productivity and efficiency, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support business SIOP by analyzing data to identify trends, risks and impact to the organization. Reducing the risk through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Managing and leading a team to support supply chain activities supporting the Oxygen Value Stream
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Program Management, Engineering, and Production Operations
  • Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate supply chain risks and address issues related to supplier on-time delivery
  • Manages execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement/MRP strategy, including RFPs, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution, inventory management.
  • May perform delivery assurance responsibilities and serve as escalation point for resolving delivery issues with suppliers
  • Authorizes purchase orders, negotiates prices and approves payments to support the procurement process
  • Support and engage with various functional areas as part of an Integrated Project Team (IPT) to resolve supply chain issues and serve as supply chain SME for other functional areas
  • Ensure implementation and execution of corporate supply chain tools
  • Lead projects to enhance Supply Chain performance and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as supply chain lead for responding to internal and external audits regarding supply chain policies and procedures
  • Sets objectives and guides others on execution/approach for achievement of operational results. Explains policies, practices, and procedures and may influence others. Problems faced are difficult and involve consideration of multiple variables.
  • Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Any other reasonable duties as required
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • Experience in procurement, materials management, or similar environment, working in Aerospace is ideal.
  • Previous history managing employees
  • Proficient ERP experience, SAP highly preferred
  • Experience working in a matrix organization and multi-site leadership
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, to meet deadlines
  • Degree in Business/Supply Chain/Engineering Related Subject preferred.
  • Energetic, collaborative leader with strong commercial and operational acumen.
