About the position

The position involves managing end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring merchandise flow through the distribution network and fulfillment centers. Responsibilities include directing resolutions and responding to escalations of daily issues, analyzing data from multiple stakeholders to streamline and improve network efficiencies, and providing data for the supplier compliance process flow. The role also requires researching and analyzing root causes of daily and escalated exceptions concerning shipping, receiving, inventory, and return-related issues, as well as conducting performance reviews of the merchandising department, distribution centers, and suppliers. Additionally, the position oversees relationships with external parties, serving as the main point of contact for external partners, communicating expectations, and leading audit processes to ensure compliance with company standards. The role drives supply chain execution by collaborating with stakeholders to achieve sales, in-stock, inventory, profitability, and strategy goals, while also tracking the movement and arrival of goods across the supply chain. Furthermore, the position directs supply chain flow process improvement efforts, contributes to the design and delivery of new ways of working, and drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects. The role also includes providing supervision and development opportunities for associates, promoting company policies and values, and ensuring business needs are met by evaluating the effectiveness of current plans and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end supply chain processes and ensure merchandise flow through the distribution network and fulfillment centers.
  • Direct resolutions and respond to escalations of daily issues.
  • Analyze data from multiple stakeholders to streamline and improve network efficiencies.
  • Provide data for the supplier compliance process flow.
  • Research and analyze root causes of daily and escalated exceptions concerning shipping, receiving, inventory, and return-related issues.
  • Conduct performance reviews of merchandising department, distribution centers, and suppliers.
  • Oversee relationships with external parties and serve as the main point of contact for external partners.
  • Communicate expectations and agreements to external partners.
  • Lead audit processes to ensure external partners comply with company standards.
  • Utilize quarterly scorecards to measure and correct performance.
  • Assist senior leadership with the selection of service providers.
  • Improve supply chain execution by approving flow path channels from supplier to store.
  • Collaborate between supply chain stakeholders to achieve sales, in-stock, inventory, profitability, and strategy goals.
  • Track the movement and arrival of goods across the supply chain.
  • Present recommendations to address conflicting goals.
  • Identify order exceptions, disruptions, and supply chain constraints.
  • Develop and coordinate resolutions for supply chain issues.
  • Direct supply chain flow process improvement efforts.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working.
  • Prioritize product flow plan objectives and ensure flow plans are achievable.
  • Manage the correction of errors processes and feedback loops.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to improve service levels.
  • Support the use of end-to-end costing methodology and lean concepts.
  • Provide cost recommendations to reduce process waste.
  • Review and analyze the impact and benefits to internal processes.
  • Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects.
  • Identify customer and operational needs and develop business plans.
  • Remove barriers and obstacles that impact performance.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates.
  • Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 4 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 6 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
  • 2 years' experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.
