This position will focus on providing excellent supply chain operational services to our customers with a solid understanding of best practices, innovations, trends in the industry, to include cross-industry disciplines (e.g., SCM, analytic, strategic, etc.). Coordinates the operational and administrative functions to provide high quality service to our patients and staff in a cost-effective manner utilizing best supply chain methodologies, processes, and tools. Responsible for identification of improvement opportunities and the development and coordination of operational capabilities, process controls and cost containment within the Division of Supply Chain Management. Including development of new control and cost containment techniques, prioritization of activities and creation of business plans for new initiatives, guidance related to financial and operational risk management to leadership. Sees and organizes opportunities to improve processes and to act as a catalyst for realizing these improvements. Responsible for effective change management practice and detailed understanding of clinical operations. Acts as a facilitator and generator of new ideas and a mediator on difficult issues. Provides awareness of current external environment issues, including financial statement control and audit expertise to ensure Mayo Clinic compliance with all regulatory agencies. Ensures information currency, quality and integrity. Participates in the overall management of their department by leading and serving on inter- and intra-divisional projects/groups, task forces and committees. Creates a customer service driven unit adept at working collaboratively with physician and administrative colleagues and across department and institutional lines. Builds teamwork within the division and among physician and administrative colleagues.

  • 10 years of specified experience, including at least five years of supervisory/management experience.

  • AHRMM CMRP, PMP, CPA or other related industry certifications preferred.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree preferred.
  • Mayo Quality Fellows Silver Certification preferred, and Gold preferred.
