About The Position

Mechanical Integrity Analysis plays a mission-critical role within the Structures Engineering organization (Stress, Dynamics, and Thermal) under Global Technical Solutions. This team is at the forefront of ensuring the structural reliability, durability, and performance of Environmental and Airframe Control Systems (EACS) and Engine Control Systems (ECS) across the entire product lifecycle—from early proposal and concept development to production, certification, and in-service support. Reporting to the Structures Engineering Department Manager, this position combines deep technical engagement with impactful people leadership. The successful candidate will shape strategy, elevate engineering rigor, and cultivate a high-performing team accountable for delivering safe, innovative, and customer-focused solutions. We are seeking a dynamic leader who inspires excellence, champions collaboration, and empowers engineers to push boundaries while delivering results that matter.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Provide enthusiastic leadership for the team aligned with Global Technical Solutions' mission, strategy, and annual plan.
  • Manage staffing for all mechanical integrity activity across EACS and ECS product lines and across all life cycle phases: Proposal, development, qualification, and field support
  • Utilize project management methodologies including workload estimates, resource scheduling, and risk identification and management
  • Resolve priority conflicts
  • Provide customer status & alignment
  • Performance feedback and development
  • Develop individual training plans and department training strategy in support of long-term strategic team and discipline health
  • Drive functional process development and improvement (e.g., Standard Work)
