About The Position
Martin Marietta's Strategy & Development group was formed in 2013, reporting to the CEO, to support the Company's growth objectives. With a lean staff and significant involvement with senior management, the team is primarily responsible for M&A development and execution, long-range strategic planning, market research and analysis, investor relations support and other special projects. Since inception, completed transactions have ranged from small family-owned bolt-on acquisitions to large platform public-company mergers, including ~$6 billion of buy and sell transactions in calendar year 2024. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Strategy & Development, this position works closely with Martin Marietta's corporate executive and operational business leaders to develop Martin Marietta's strategic growth priorities, evaluate capital deployment alternatives and execute M&A transactions to continue driving significant long-term shareholder value. This is a high-profile and challenging role with significant senior executive exposure. The ideal candidate enjoys analyzing complex problems, works effectively with cross-functional teams and thrives in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.
